Her work starts with the need of
giving jewellery a meaning beyond aesthetics by using it as a log of life
experiences. The jewels speak of subjects so human as love, sickness,
addictions, conflicts… The chains are used to represent situations where there
is a lack of freedom whatever the cause is: a bond, a possession, an addiction
or an attachment.
To represent all those situations she use a language that is
expressive, metaphoric and mostly intimate.
Despite it is a personal or someone
else´s experience; my work becomes the link between the jewel and this
experience. Those subjects may not be the most appealing
but they all contain a moral to learn from.
